Legally Docked Working Dogs

All of our dogs are legally docked under the genuine working dog exemption. Docking is not carried out for cosmetic reasons.

For working spaniels operating in dense cover, woodland, brambles and rough terrain, docking can significantly reduce the risk of painful tail injuries and support long-term welfare.

Tail injuries can be difficult to heal, repeatedly reopen and cause significant discomfort. For active working spaniels, appropriate legal docking helps reduce this risk and supports the dog's ability to work safely throughout its life.

Future Team Development

As the organisation continues to grow, we intend to expand capability through the addition of Labrador Retrievers and English Springer Spaniels by the end of 2026.
